Dr. Eddy graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.   He received his Medical Degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in 2004.

He continued his training in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. 

Dr. Eddy is an avid gardener and a bonsai enthusiast and is a member of the West Hartford Bonsai Society.
